What is a water softener salt subscription service?
Our set & forget subscription service provides a hassle-free solution, ensuring peace of mind as you always have a steady supply of high-quality water softener salt delivered directly to your door. You no longer need to worry about running out and can avoid the heavy-lifting and dirty bags.
How does the subscription service work?
Signing up for our set & forget subscription service is simple. You just need to choose your type of salt, postcode area, number of bags and delivery frequency and we’ll take care of the rest, ensuring your salt arrives when you need it.
What types of water softener salt do you offer?
We offer a range of water softener salt options, including tablet, block and granular salt. All Monarch Water salt is manufactured to BS: EN973 – Class A ensuring the highest food grade quality. Our salt is suitable for all types and brands of softeners in the UK, if you are unsure on the compatibility or which salt you need, don’t worry, just give us a call on 0800 093 8222 and one of our team can help you with this. How often will I receive deliveries?
Delivery frequency is based upon the options available to you from our set & forget subscription choices.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Just give us a call on 0800 093 8222 and one of our team can help you with this. Our offices are open Monday-Friday 08.30-17.00.
Please note that if you notify us that you wish to cancel less than 14 days prior to the next payment date, we will continue to take payment on the next payment date and to deliver the next subscription order. Cancellation will not affect subscription orders for which we have already taken payment or sent a shipping confirmation.
Is there a minimum commitment or contract?

Can I push back a delivery if I have enough salt?
Absolutely! If you find that you have enough salt on hand and don't need your next scheduled delivery, you can choose to skip a month. Just give us a call on 0800 093 8222 and one of our team can help you. Our offices are open Monday-Friday 08.30-17.00.
How is the salt delivered?
Generally, our deliveries will be made by a Monarch Water delivery driver in one of our branded vans, however, sometimes demand means we must use our trusted courier partner APC.
We work hard to ensure your salt arrives safely and securely, ready for use.
Please ensure that your delivery details are correct and notify us of any changes.
Is shipping included in a salt subscription price?
Yes, shipping is included in the subscription price for both local and national salt subscription plans. In fact, delivery is included in all of our products, so you can shop with peace of mind in what you’ll pay.
What is your returns or refund policy?
If you are a consumer and have changed your mind and want to return an order of salt to us, you have a period of 14 days from the date of delivery of the order to you, to notify us that you wish to cancel and return an order. You have a further 14 days from the day you notify us that you wish to wish to cancel, to return the order to us. Any refund will be issued to your original payment method.
If you wish to return an order please contact us within the 14 day cancellation period using the contact details set out below. You may also use the model cancellation form available here but it is not obligatory. Please provide us with your name, address, contact details and details of the order you want to cancel.
If you try to make a return after the cancellation period., we may elect to send it back to you at your default delivery address and ask you to cover the delivery costs.
We will inspect all returns. To be eligible for a return, the salt must be returned to us in the same condition that you received it and unopened and unused. We will not accept returns that have been used or opened. For further information regarding your right to cancel and the conditions that must be met, please see our Terms & Conditions.
Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of the return and for ensuring that it is received by us undamaged. You should retain proof of posting as evidence.
